This part has some cometic defects in the gelcoat surface. This does not affect the strength of the part. Save $20 on this part just for doing a little extra bodywork.
This hood vent was designed by Fiero Addiction to reduce underhood pressure and temperature. The vent openings are placed directly above the radiator to allow air to easily escape. Although no performance claims have been proven, most people who have installed the vent have noticed better high speed stability and lower engine temps. If your headlight doors fly open at high speeds or you are just looking for something to improve the appearance of your Fiero, this is the right part for you.
The vent panel is made from fiberglass and matches the contour of the Fiero hood perfectly. This is not a universal hood vent, it was designed specificly for the Fiero. Installation requires cutting the Fiero hood and bonding the new panel in place. Some bodywork is required, and of course the hood will need to be repainted.
